Once the tooth is ready an impression or a digital scan is taken so the permanent crown can be made to fit the shape. A temporary crown is usually put on while you wait.<\/p>\r\n
At the visit the temporary crown is taken off and the permanent one is checked for fit. Your dentist looks at how it sits around the tooth and how your teeth meet when you bite.<\/p>\r\n
