Can You Eat Chicken After 1 Month Single Tooth Implant?

Why Chicken Is Usually Fine After One Month

A month after implant surgery, the gum around the site has had a decent amount of time to settle. But the implant itself is still going through osseointegration, which means the bone is gradually bonding with the implant. That process takes much longer than a few weeks.

The Texture Matters More Than the Meat

• Soft and shredded chicken is the easy choice, especially if the gum still feels a little sensitive.

• Crispy fried chicken isn’t my favorite idea yet because the coating can be hard and the chewing gets aggressive without you noticing.

• Very dry or chewy chicken deserves a pass for now, particularly if you find yourself repeatedly working the same bite.

What About Spicy Chicken?

Spices aren’t usually a problem once the surgical wound has healed. Still, very spicy food can irritate gum tissue if the area remains sensitive. If your mouth feels completely normal, you can generally return to your usual seasoning.
