A routine dental check-up is the single most effective thing you can do for your long-term oral health. At Bridge Dental we use check-ups to catch decay, gum disease and other conditions early — when treatment is simpler, faster and less expensive.
Your dentist will examine all your teeth and gums for signs of decay, gum disease, wear and damage. We check the soft tissues of the mouth for any changes that may need monitoring. X-rays are taken where clinically needed to detect problems between teeth and at the roots. You will receive a full report and any treatment recommendations with costs before anything is agreed.
Most patients benefit from a check-up every 6–12 months. Your dentist will recommend the right interval for you based on your oral health — patients with a history of gum disease or decay may be seen more frequently, while patients with excellent oral health may only need annual visits.
